Antonio.

bad shape and not usable anymore.

had is website issues.
Bimonthly newsletters will start going out. The next one due out is on
August 15th. Randi Wayland offered to help Debbie Black with the
newsletters.

large. He will replaced by Deborah Howard.
We discussed how we could appeal to new sponsors and clubs for TABC.
Doug and Debbie Black will look into getting a TABC plaque in Bass Pro
Shop in San Antonio.
Chuck Sharp, Region V Director, suggested that we start to look at the
New Year 2010 and make a commitment to get more young people involved.
We should organize a youth division and have quarterly tournaments,
possibly one in each region. The winners of each region should be
allowed to fish in a junior division at the state tournament, the entry
fee would be waived. The winner will be awarded a scholarship. The
junior angler can be taken out by a parent/guardian to fish and only the
junior angler weight will be counted. There would possibly be age
levels; 6 to 12 and 13 to 17. Everyone put their thoughts on paper and
we will take up this
discussion further at a future meeting.
We also discussed about having a life member team. We have tabled this
discussion until our next meeting.
Our next meeting will be held on August 30, 2009 the time and location
to be announced at a later date.
Meeting adjourned at approximately 4:49 p.m.
Respectfully submitted by:
Debbie Black
TABC Co-Secretary
